Activity Overview

• The 1st Mudgee Venturers will be having a camp at Camp Cudgegong on the 6-8/10/2026.
• Attendees will meet at 5pm at the scout hall to finalise loading trailer with bags and head off to the campsite.
• We will be staying at the Cudgegong Scout campsite, 42.6km from the hall on Cudgegong Road. 
• We will be returning to the scout hall for pick up at 2pm. 
• The venturers will be participating in activities such as pioneering, navigation, camp cooking and other activities in a bush environment. 
• All participants must wear long pants and enclosed shoes during the entirety of the camp as per policy.
• Full cost of the camp is covered by Venturer funds. 

Clothing & Equipment

• All participants require a full day pack and clothing for a two day camp. 
• Tents will be supplied.
• Sleeping gear (mattress, pillow, sleeping bag, etc).
• Mess kit.

Travel Arrangements

• Transport will be arranged by Venturer Leaders and parent helpers with registered and fully insured vehicles driven by licenced drivers.
